Sunday, July 22, 2012 Companies 24, 16, 19, 22, and RIT 3 were dispatched to the 500 block of Baltimore Ave for the commercial building fire. 16-9A arrived and reported smoke showing. Engine 24 and Engine 16 both laid supply lines, and upon arrival stretched 3 attack lines to Side A. Truck 19 arrived, forced entry to side A, and conducted a primary and secondary search of Division 2. Crews from 22 and 16 also stretched two attack lines to side C. Crews extinguished fire on division 1, and performed extensive overhaul. All searches were negative. Company 20 assisted as a second RIT team. The cause remains under investigation. 24-9A (Carr) had the Baltimore Ave Command.
